This morning we visited Checkpoint Charlie and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum, learning about how people would try to escape from East Berlin.

Fwd: Berlin trip
After arriving safely and unpacking at the hostel, we had a great evening seeing the impressive Brandenburg Gate illuminated against the night sky before walking to the Reichstag building. Everyone admired the very modern addition of the dome to the restored traditional building and enjoyed climbing to the top for great views over the city.

For all those going on the Berlin trip this Sunday, 10th February, make sure you are at school at 7.45 am. It is crucial you are on time so that we are at the airport in good time for the flight.
